Description of the gel

The gel has been specially developed for women and is used in combination with diaphragms as a barrier contraception method.It serves to increase contraceptive security.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The gel contains various active ingredients and excipients.These include (S)-lactic acid, sodium salt and lactic acid.Cellulose, vanillin, purified water and sorbic acid are included as excipients.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients.There is no feedback regarding intolerances.If you experience severe burning or itching during use, you should stop using the gel and consult a doctor.

Dosage and application

Before inserting it into the vagina, you should put about a teaspoon, i.e. around 4 ml, of the preparation into the diaphragm.Please refer to the instructions for use of your diaphragm.The cellulose gel forms an additional mechanical barrier between the diaphragm and the cervix.

No prescription is required for this product.The gel does not offer any protection against sexually transmitted diseases and is only intended for use in conjunction with a diaphragm.Without a diaphragm, the gel alone is not a reliable method of contraception.The preparation is water-soluble and compatible with condoms made of natural rubber latex.
