Active ingredients and ingredients

This tear substitute contains carmellose sodium, a film former, as the active ingredient.The following excipients are also included: sodium lactate, calcium chloride dihydrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride and purified water.

Area of application

The medicine is used for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye.It can help with pain, burning, irritation, or dryness in the eye.No prescription is required for this product.If symptoms do not improve or worsen, please consult a doctor.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive or allergic to carmellose sodium or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The usual dose is 1-2 drops into the affected eyes as needed.If irritation, pain, redness, or vision changes occur, or if your condition worsens, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

If you have used a larger amount than intended, there is no danger.If you have any concerns, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.If you forget to use it, take the next dose as planned.Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.

Application

The medicine is used on the eyes.Make sure the single-dose container is intact before use and open it immediately before use.Avoid contact of the open end of the container with the eye or other surfaces to avoid contamination or injury.Wash your hands before use.

Separate a single-dose container from the strip and hold it vertically with the cap facing up.Twist off the cap and gently pull the lower eyelid down to form a pocket.Hold the container with the opening facing down and squeeze until a drop falls into each eye.Open and close your eyes a few times.Do not reuse the single-dose container and discard it after use.

Patient information

If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the medicine.You can reinsert the lenses 15 minutes after application.

This preparation may cause short-term blurred vision, typically lasting 1-15 minutes.Do not drive or operate machinery until your vision is clear.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
