Instructions for use of the article Silomat gegen Reizhusten Pentoxyverin Saft. Important information: Silomat Against Irritant Cough Pentoxyverine Juice is used for the symptomatic treatment of irritable cough. It contains the active substance pentoxyverine citrate. The juice must not be taken if you are allergic to certain ingredients or if you suffer from certain health conditions. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take the medicine. It is also not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Precautions should be taken in patients with renal dysfunction, increased intraocular pressure or benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is recommended to take the juice exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Side effects may include drowsiness, upper abdominal pain, diarrhoea and skin rash. In addition, the juice contains sorbitol, propylene glycol and sodium, which may cause side effects in certain people.
