Silomat DMP Intensive hard capsules are used for the symptomatic treatment of irritable cough. Irritable cough is a dry cough in which no mucus is coughed up. The capsules contain the active substance dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate. The recommended dosage for adolescents over 12 years and adults is one capsule every 6 hours. No more than 4 capsules should be taken per day. The capsules are taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. The duration of use should not exceed 3-5 days without medical advice. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, muscle contractions and impaired consciousness may occur. In the event of an overdose, a doctor should be consulted immediately. The capsules must not be taken by children under 12 years of age. The medicine should be stored away from heat and moisture and kept out of reach of children.
