Description of the product

This product is an antiseptic used for germ-reducing treatment of the skin.It is available without a prescription.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The solution contains 0.4 g of quinoline-8-ol sulfate and 0.3 g of quinoline-8-ol.Purified water is included as an auxiliary ingredient.

Areas of application

The antiseptic is used on the skin to reduce germs.It is suitable for partial body washing, rinsing and preparing compresses.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to quinoline-8-ol-sulfate or other quinolines.The product should also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as quinoline-8-ol sulfate is classified as mutagenic and teratogenic effects cannot be ruled out.

Dosage and application

The solution is used undiluted two to three times a day.The duration of treatment should be limited to 14 days without a doctor's order.If the symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor.

If you have used a larger amount than you should, no intoxication is to be expected at the present concentration.

Warnings and precautions

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.The solution may cause damage on some materials such as fabrics or plastic floors, especially if the materials contain traces of heavy metals.Since the active ingredient can form colored compounds with some materials, especially heavy metals, care must be taken that the solution does not come into contact with metal objects.

Effects on the ability to drive and use machines are not known.

Interactions

Quinoline-8-ol sulfate shows incompatibilities with zinc oxide and sulfonated shale oils.The solution should therefore not be used together with the substances mentioned.

Side effects

Irritant contact reactions can occur very often.Contact eczema can rarely occur.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet.

Storage instructions

The expiry date of this pack is printed on the label.Do not use this medicine after this date.After opening the container for the first time, the solution can be used for 4 weeks.Do not store above 25°C!Can be used for 4 weeks after opening.Store drug out of reach of children.

100 g solution contains: 0.40 g quinoline-8-ol sulfate (2:1), purified water.
