Instructions for use for BALISA Cream, 100 g

Balisa is a cream used to treat dry and scaly skin. It contains the active ingredient urea and helps with excessive hornification of the skin, milder forms of fish scale disease (ichthyosis) and dry, chapped and reddened skin. The cream is applied and rubbed into the affected skin areas once or twice a day. Contact with the eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided. There are no known overdose symptoms and the duration of application depends on the course of the disease. However, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the application should be discussed with a doctor. Possible side effects have occurred only rarely so far. The cream must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or if kidney function is impaired. Further information on use and storage can be found in the package leaflet.
