Widmer Remederm Cream is a skin medication for external use.It is used as a supportive therapy for dry, irritated and/or red skin.It can also be used for temporary follow-up treatment of milder forms of neurodermatitis and eczema, for interval therapy when local corticosteroid treatment is necessary, and for supportive treatment of UV-light therapy (SUP) for psoriasis vulgaris.

Very dry, irritated or red skin suffers from increased water loss and a lack of skin lipids.The usual cosmetics are often not enough to compensate for these deficiencies.The skin of neurodermatitis sufferers is also very sensitive.The Widmer Remederm cream protects, nourishes, moisturizes and regenerates the skin.It strengthens the skin's barrier function, normalizes keratinization and offers effective protection against external influences.It is ideal for the very sensitive skin of toddlers, children, adults and aging skin.

The Widmer Remederm Cream is a preparation with a polyvalent, physical overall effect;anti-irritant and erythematous, antipruritic and therefore largely anti-eczematous.It is able to hydrate the horny layer, on the one hand through the simultaneous application of water and water-binding substances and on the other hand through a certain occluding effect of the lipophilic components.The development of the skin's barrier function is promoted.

In the two most frequently occurring dermatological disease groups (psoriasis vulgaris, atopic eczema/neurodermatitis), supportive treatment or intermediate treatment can reduce the potential risks of continuous therapy with discontinuous local corticosteroid treatment.At the same time, the tolerability of UV-light therapy is improved.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Widmer Remederm cream unscented: The cream can be applied daily to cleansed skin.

Widmer Remederm cream unscented is free of fragrances.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

The recommended dose, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, is: Apply thinly to the skin twice a day and rub in lightly.The duration of treatment is up to 6 months, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor.

The cream can be used as part of an interval treatment (e.g. treatment with Widmer Remederm cream on three consecutive days, the remaining days of the week treatment with another ointment containing active ingredients).

Notes

Widmer Remederm Cream contains butylhydroxyanisole, butylhydroxytoluene and propylene glycol.

Widmer Remederm Cream should not be used on the eyes or mucous membranes.

Widmer Remederm Cream must not be used if you are allergic to purified water, urea, retinol palmitate, all-rac-alpha-tocopherol acetate (Ph. Eur.), dexpanthenol, dioctadecyl hydrogen citrate, pentaerythritol dicoco fatty acid ester, glycerol monooleate, aluminum hydroxide distearate, propylene glycol, sorbitan sesquioleate, bleached wax, hard paraffin, white petroleum jelly, thin paraffin, macrogol (200), glycerol monostearate 40 - 55,Isopropyl myristate, decyl oleate, dibutyl adipate, 1,3 butanediol, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) (Ph. Eur.), lactic acid or one of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
