Active ingredients and ingredients

Zinkit® 20 contains the following active ingredients and excipients: 88 mg zinc sulfate 7-water, corresponding to 20 mg zinc ion.In addition, it contains arabic gum, calcium carbonate, carmellose, microcrystalline cellulose, glucose solution, hypromellose, lactose 1-water, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, corn starch, montan glycol wax, sodium dodecyl sulfate, PEG castor oil (hydrogenated), povidone K25, sucrose, colloidal silicon dioxide, sorbitol, stearic acid, talc,Titanium dioxide and white clay.

Area of application

Zinkit® 20 is used to treat clinically confirmed zinc deficiencies if these cannot be remedied through diet.Zinc is essential for a functioning immune system.A deficiency can manifest itself through an increased susceptibility to infections.

Dosage and intake

The recommended dosage of Zinkit® 20 is one coated tablet once daily, which corresponds to 20 mg zinc.The tablets should be taken on an empty stomach, with sufficient liquid and at a considerable distance from meals.

Contraindications

Zinkit® 20 must not be taken if you are allergic to zinc sulfate 7 water or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.

Patient information
