Leukoplast® Fixomull® stretch is an adhesive bandage that was specially developed for the secure fixation of wound dressings on frequently moved parts of the body and joints.It is also suitable for attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.The material is soft, cuddly and breathable.

Area of application

The particularly stretchy, soft and water vapor permeable Fixomull® stretch was developed by the LEUKOPLAST-experts for secure and comfortable fixation on areas of the body that move a lot or have strong contours.It is ideal for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices.The bandage is cuddly due to its transverse elasticity and adapts well to strongly contoured parts of the body.Stiffness, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented.The product has good immediate and permanent adhesion and good air and water vapor permeability.It prevents contamination, is also well tolerated by people with sensitive skin and is easy and versatile to use.

Mode of action

Fixomull® stretch as a full-surface bandage fixation made of transversely elastic polyester fleece is suitable for applying and fixing bandages.Due to its high adaptability, it can be used for flexible dressings in the operating room, on the ward or in outpatient care.It is also suitable for large dressings as it can be cut to size.This type of application saves material and costs.With Fixomull® stretch, bandages are fixed quickly and easily.Its transverse elasticity makes it particularly cuddly and adheres well to heavily stressed areas of the body.Stiffness, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented.Fixomull® stretch has good immediate and permanent adhesion as well as good air and water vapor permeability.

Dosage

Recommended use of Fixomull® stretch: Suitable for fixing wound dressings and compresses on frequently moved parts of the body and joints, also suitable for securely attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.Fixomull® stretch can be cut to size and is supple.Cut off the required amount.Peel off one half of the protective film and stick the bandage to the affected part of the body.Now peel off the second half of the protective film, apply the bandage completely and smooth it out.
