Directions for use of the article Jucurba 240 mg Hartkapseln: Important information (compulsory information): Jucurba® 240 mg hard capsules. Active substance: dry extract of devil's claw root. Indications: For the supportive treatment of signs of wear and tear of the musculoskeletal system. A doctor should be consulted for acute conditions, e.g. redness, swelling or overheating of joints, and for persistent complaints. Warning: Contains lactose. Product properties: Jucurba is a herbal medicinal product used for disorders of the musculoskeletal system. It is used as a supportive therapy for signs of wear and tear of the musculoskeletal system. Please note that a doctor must be consulted in the event of acute conditions accompanied by redness, swelling or overheating of joints, as well as persistent complaints. How should Jucurba be taken? Always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is either 2 hard capsules 2 times a day or 1 hard capsule 4 times a day, with meals or at bedtime. The capsules should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water. Long-term treatment with Jucurba is possible, but you should consult a doctor if your symptoms persist unabated after 4 weeks of treatment. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Jucurba is too strong or too weak. Use in children and adolescents: Jucurba is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. How should Jucurba be stored? Keep the medicine out of the reach of children in the original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture. Do not use the medicine after the stated expiry date. Ingredients: - Active substance: dry extract of devil's claw root (4.4-5.0 : 1); extraction agent: ethanol 60 % (V/V). - Other constituents: Iron(III)oxide (E 172), gelatine, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, talcum, titanium dioxide (E 171), water.
