Canephron® N Dragees is a traditional herbal medicine for the supportive treatment of inflammatory urinary tract infections, such as acute cystitis.The herbal triple combination of rosemary, centaury and lovage works in a variety of ways: it relieves burning and pain, relieves bladder cramps and supports the flushing out of bacteria.This means that the unpleasant symptoms are treated comprehensively.

Each tablet contains 18 mg of lovage root powder, 18 mg of rosemary leaf powder and 18 mg of centaury powder.In addition, the product contains various excipients such as calcium carbonate, dextrin, iron (III) oxide, glucose syrup, lactose-1-water, magnesium stearate, corn starch, montan glycol wax, povidone K25, povidone K30, riboflavin, castor oil, sucrose, shellac, silicon dioxide, talc and titanium dioxide.

Contraindications

Canephron® N dragees should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

Always take the tablets exactly as directed.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose for adolescents aged 12 and over and adults is two coated tablets three times a day.The duration of use is in principle not limited, but please note the information under “Patient Information”.

If you have taken more than you should, please contact a doctor.If you forget to take it, do not take double the amount next time, but continue taking it as prescribed.Stopping it is usually harmless.

Intake

The tablets are best taken whole without chewing with a little liquid.Ample fluid intake supports the therapy.
