Coffeinum N 0.2 g is a medicinal product taken for the short-term relief of symptoms of tiredness. It contains the active substance caffeine and is available in tablet form. Before taking the tablets, the package leaflet should be read carefully. It is important that the stated dosage is adhered to and that the medicine is not used for a prolonged period without first consulting a doctor. Coffeinum N 0.2 g must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to caffeine or any of the other ingredients of the medicine. Special care should be taken in patients with cardiac arrhythmias, cirrhosis of the liver, hyperthyroidism or anxiety syndromes. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. Side effects, such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, insomnia and nervousness, may occur but are not expected in every patient. It should be noted that the medicinal product contains lactose and should therefore be used with caution in persons with lactose intolerance.
