Clove oil is an essential oil extracted from the leaves of the Eugenia caryophyllus plant.It is a 100% natural oil that is extracted by steam distillation.The scent of clove oil is intensely spicy, sweet and warm.It is used as a heart note and base note in aromatherapy.

Clove oil contains the following ingredients: Eugenia caryophyllus leaf oil, Benzyl benzoate, eugenol, limonene, linalool.These ingredients are natural components of the essential oil.

Dosage

For use in the fragrance lamp, up to 2 drops of clove oil in approx. 50 ml of water are recommended.For use on the skin, 4 to 6 drops can be mixed with 100 ml of base oil and gently massaged into the skin.

Notes

Clove oil should not be used on infants and young children or during pregnancy.It must be kept out of the reach of children.Once opened, the oil should be used within 12 months.The recommended amount should not be exceeded.Hands should be washed thoroughly after use.

Clove oil can cause allergic skin reactions and severe eye irritation.It can be fatal if swallowed and enters the respiratory tract.If swallowed, contact the Poison Control Center or a doctor immediately.If skin irritation or rash occurs, medical advice should be sought.
