Areas of application

Wofasept instrument and surface disinfection is suitable for disinfecting all washable surfaces in clinics, doctor's offices, public facilities and households.It is also used to disinfect instruments in accordance with the Medical Devices Directive and to pre-treat contaminated laundry when soaking.The product cleans, disinfects and deodorizes in one step and is particularly suitable for the cleaning disinfection of surfaces and instruments when there is a high protein load.It is listed for surface disinfection according to VAH.

Application and dosage

Wofasept is used in hospitals, medical practices and public areas in accordance with the disinfectant list of VAH.

For surface disinfection with high organic contamination in hospitals and practices (VAH - bactericidal and levurocidal), a concentration of 2% with an exposure time of 30 minutes is recommended.A concentration of 2% with an exposure time of 15 minutes is also used for instrument disinfection in hospitals and practices.If the risk of infection is low, in the home and other areas, a concentration of 1% with an exposure time of 60 minutes or 2% with an exposure time of 30 minutes can be used.For laundry disinfection (soaking), a concentration of 1% with an exposure time of 4 hours or 2% with an exposure time of 1 hour is used.For a limited virucidal effect (swine flu, bird flu), a concentration of 2.5% with an exposure time of 5 minutes is recommended.

2 ml Wofasept to 98 ml water or 200 ml Wofasept to 9.8 l water.After disinfection, rinse well under running water.Dry instruments before shrink-wrapping or sterilizing.

Precautions

Do not combine Wofasept with other disinfectants or cleaning agents as these can neutralize the effect through chemical interaction.The product is not suitable for disinfecting objects and systems for the production and processing of food.

Material compatibility

When using on sensitive surfaces and materials, a preliminary sample with the intended concentration and exposure time in an inconspicuous area is recommended.

Composition

100 ml of Wofasept contains 5 g of chlorocresol, 2 g of clorofen as well as 5-15% anionic surfactants, water-soluble solvents, fragrances and auxiliary substances.

Disinfectant concentrate with cleaning effect

Wofasept is a disinfectant concentrate with a cleaning effect that is used for instrument disinfection and surface disinfection.It is a broad-spectrum microbicide that is effective against all bacteria (except mycobacteria and spore formers) and fungi (yeasts).The product is insensitive to impurities such as blood, protein, stool, sputum, pus and others.Due to the mechanism of action, resistance can be ruled out.
