Information about herbal medicines

This herbal medicine is intended for short-term use and is used to prevent and treat colds.No prescription is required for this product.

Ingredients

The medicine contains 640 mg of purple coneflower pressed juice (1-2:1) as the active ingredient.Ethanol and purified water are included as auxiliary ingredients.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken by children under one year of age as their immune system is not yet fully developed.It should also not be used if you are hypersensitive to purple coneflower, plants from the Asteraceae family or any of the other ingredients.For fundamental reasons, the drops should not be used in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis or sarcoidosis, systemic diseases of the white blood cell system, autoimmune diseases such as inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue or multiple sclerosis, acquired immune deficiencies and immunosuppression.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as directed.The usual dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is 4 ml 3 times a day. It is not intended for children under 12 years of age.If kidney or liver function is impaired, there is no sufficient data to make specific dosage recommendations.Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if the effect is too strong or too weak.

The duration of use depends on the underlying disease.Start treatment as soon as possible after symptoms appear and continue until they disappear.However, the drops should not be taken for longer than 10 days without interruption.

In the event of an overdose, the symptoms mentioned under “Side effects” can occur more frequently.Then stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose next time, but continue taking it.

Intake

It is best to take the medicine undiluted morning, afternoon and evening.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when taking the drug if symptoms last longer than 10 days or if shortness of breath, fever, purulent or bloody sputum occur.In these cases you should consult a doctor.If you are allergic, you may be at increased risk of a serious allergic reaction.Ask your doctor first whether you can use the drops.

Children under one year of age should not take the medicine.There are no sufficient studies available for use in children under 12 years of age.Use in children under 12 years is therefore not recommended.However, no specific risk for children over one year of age has been documented.

No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

Due to insufficient investigations, the medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Illnesses in the area of the respiratory tract require consultation with a doctor if they recur frequently, fever lasts longer than 3 days, shortness of breath or purulent or bloody sputum.Recurring complaints in the urinary tract generally require medical clarification and regular medical checks.If you have blood in your urine, have a fever or if symptoms persist for more than 5 days, you should consult a doctor.

Cloudiness or slight precipitation may occur in solutions made from natural products.They do not affect effectiveness.The active ingredient ensures that viral and bacterial infections, especially of the respiratory tract, are prevented or overcome more quickly and that the immune system weakness underlying recurring illnesses is reduced.
