Instructions for use for LYGAL Head Ointment N, 50 g

LYGAL KOPFSALBE N 3% contains the active substance salicylic acid and is used to descale horny cells, e.g. in psoriasis of the hairy head and in dandruff. The medicinal product should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to salicylic acid or any of the other ingredients, in infants under 1 year of age, impaired kidney function and extensive inflammation or eczema at the site of application. The medicinal product should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Possible side effects may include skin irritation. The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the disease. The medicine should be stored away from heat.
