CalciCare-D3 is a vitamin and mineral preparation used to support specific therapy, for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D and calcium deficiencies in elderly people. The medicinal product contains calcium carbonate and vitamin D3 as active ingredients. It is used in the form of chewable tablets. The dosage for adults is 1 chewable tablet 1-2 times a day. The daily dose should not be exceeded. The chewable tablets should be chewed or sucked well. The duration of use is determined by the doctor. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as muscle weakness, increased feeling of thirst and increased urine output may occur. The medicinal product must not be used in the case of increased calcium levels, kidney stones, impaired kidney function and during pregnancy.
