Instructions for use of the article Combiscreen 5+Leuko Plus Test Strips Product features: Combiscreen 5+Leuko Plus Test Strips Application: Rapid test for the diagnosis and early detection of diabetes, liver and haemolytic diseases, metabolic disorders and diseases of the urogenital tract. Urine test strips for the rapid semi-quantitative determination of ascorbic acid, bilirubin, blood, glucose, ketone, leukocytes, nitrite, pH, protein, specific gravity and urobilinogen in human urine. The CombiScreen® urine test strips are for professional use only. Summary and explanation: The urine test strips are semi-quantitative test systems for measuring various analytes in urine. The measurements are used for the early detection of diseases of the kidneys, liver and metabolism, and bacterial urinary tract infections. Since ascorbic acid in urine can affect the response of some parameters, some CombiScreen® urine test strips have a test field that indicates the level of ascorbic acid in urine. The CombiScreen® Plus test strips include ascorbic acid protection for the blood and glucose test fields. All CombiScreen ® urine test strips can be evaluated visually, while the system urine test strips are additionally suitable for instrumental evaluation. Procedure: - Use well mixed and fresh native urine. - Remove only the required number of test strips and immediately close the pack tightly with the original stopper. - Dip the test strip briefly (approx. 1-2 seconds) into the mixed urine. Make sure that all test fields are wetted with urine. - Stripe excess urine over the edge of the strip on the rim of the collection vessel. - Dab the edge of the strip on absorbent paper. - Visual evaluation: Keep the test strip horizontal during the incubation period to avoid interference between the reactions of the different test fields. Compare colours of the urine test strip 60 seconds after immersion (leukocytes 60-120 seconds) with the colour scale on the label. Discolouration after more than 2 minutes after the start of the test is of no significance. Visual evaluation should be done in diffuse daylight. Colours that cannot be assigned to the colour scale on the label or discolourations that only occur at the edge of the test field are of no significance. - Automatic evaluation: For reflectometric evaluation, please read the detailed instructions for use of the device beforehand.
