Diclox forte - Schmerzgel 2%, with diclofenac is used for the local, symptomatic treatment of pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises resulting from blunt trauma in adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over. It contains the active substance diclofenac and has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. The gel can relieve discomfort quickly and immediately. It can also be used for inflammations in the muscle and joint system. The recommended dosage is to apply a sufficient amount of the gel to the affected skin area 2 times a day. Wash your hands thoroughly after use and avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas. The medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the gel or certain diseases such as asthma. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Possible side effects may include hypersensitivity reactions of the skin such as itching, redness or rash. The exact duration of use and other instructions should be discussed with a doctor. The gel should be stored in the dark.
