Esberitox Compact Tablets are a herbal medicinal product for the supportive therapy of viral colds in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The tablets contain a dry extract from a mixture of dyer's bean rhizome, purple coneflower root, pale coneflower root and arborvitae tips and leaves. The recommended dosage is one tablet 3 times a day, to be taken with sufficient liquid. The tablets can also be chewed. The duration of use is usually until the symptoms have subsided, but not longer than 10 days. Esberitox Compact tablets are well tolerated, can shorten the duration of a cold by up to 3 days and relieve all cold symptoms. Side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, skin reactions and low blood pressure may occur, but are rare. There are contraindications for use in certain conditions such as autoimmune diseases and immune deficiency. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take the product. Esberitox Compact tablets are available without a prescription and are suitable for use for colds and flu-like infections. You can find more information in the package leaflet.
