Esberitox Compact Tablets are a herbal medicinal product used for the supportive therapy of viral colds in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. It contains a dry extract of a mixture of dyer's bean rhizome, purple coneflower root, pale coneflower root and arborvitae tips and leaves. The recommended dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day, taken with sufficient liquid. Treatment should be started as soon as possible after the first signs of the disease appear and continued until the symptoms subside. However, use should not exceed 10 days. There are certain groups, such as children under 12 years of age and pregnant or breastfeeding women, in whom the medicine should not be used. Side effects such as gastrointestinal complaints and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin may occur. Esberitox Compact Tablets are available without prescription from pharmacies.
