Contraindications

Not suitable for disinfecting mucous membranes.Do not use in the immediate vicinity of eyes or open wounds.Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the active ingredients or other ingredients.

Sterillium Classic Pure solution is used for different lengths of time depending on the desired disinfection effect.

Intake

The preparation is used undiluted.In-vitro and in-vivo studies have shown that the preparation is effective against a number of bacteria and fungi.During hygienic hand disinfection, it reduces the transient skin flora by over 99.99% within 30 seconds and is also effective against the resident skin flora within 1.5 minutes during surgical hand disinfection.

Application

Sterillium® classic pure is used undiluted.

For hygienic hand disinfection: Rub at least 3 ml of Sterillium® classic pure into dry hands within 30 seconds without rinsing.Cover all areas of skin, paying particular attention to fingertips and thumbs.Keep your hands moist for the entire exposure time of 30 seconds.

For surgical hand disinfection: Wet dry hands and forearms completely with Sterillium® classic pure and then rub in as many portions as necessary for at least 1.5 minutes and keep moist without rinsing.Treat hands specifically, paying particular attention to the fingertips, palms and especially the thumb areas.

Skin disinfection: Rub Sterillium® classic pure on dry skin for 15 seconds before injections and punctures.Before punctures of joints, body cavities and hollow organs as well as surgical procedures, keep the skin moist for 1 minute.Skin rich in sebaceous glands must be kept moist for at least 10 minutes.
