One chewable tablet contains 20 mg of Lactobacillus acidophilus dry powder, which corresponds to approximately 109-1010 viable bacteria per gram.The tablet also contains the following excipients: riboflavin, nicotinic acid, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), magnesium sulfate 7-water, manganese (II) sulfate, lactose and lactose 1-water.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to Lactobacillus acidophilus dry powder or any of the other ingredients.Patients with severely weakened immune systems, as can occur, for example, with AIDS, after organ transplants, leukemia, malignant tumors, radiation, chemotherapy or after long-term high-dose cortisone treatment, should not take the medicine.In addition, it must not be used in acute diarrhea with high fever or blood or in children under 1 year of age.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet.If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is: Adults take 3 chewable tablets 1 - 3 times daily.Schoolchildren take 3 chewable tablets 1 - 2 times daily.Small children take 1 chewable tablet 1 - 3 times daily.

In the case of acute intestinal problems, treatment is carried out until the symptoms improve.In the case of chronic functional disorders, taking it for at least 6 weeks is recommended.

If you take more than you should, there are usually no adverse consequences.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take a dose.Interrupting or prematurely ending treatment is usually harmless.

No prescription is required for this product.

Intake

Adults and school children take the tablets chewed with meals.For small children, the chewable tablet should be given crushed in warm milk or lukewarm porridge.
