Instructions for use for AKNEFUG oxide wash suspension, 100 g

Acnefug Oxide Wash is a peeling and antibacterial suspension for the treatment of mild to moderately severe forms of acne vulgaris. It contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. Some important instructions must be observed when using it: The medicinal product should not be used on mucous membranes, around the mouth, nose and eyes or on skin abrasions. Slight skin irritations such as redness, itching, burning and scaling may occur, which usually subside after a few days. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Intensive sun or solarium irradiation of the treated body regions should be avoided, as there may be an increased tendency to sunburn. The medicinal product must not come into contact with coloured textiles, as these may be discoloured. The average duration of application is 4 to 12 weeks. Side effects may include drying, scaling, burning, itching and slight reddening of the skin. The medicine should only be used on dry or sebostatic skin as directed by a doctor. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. The medicinal product should be stored in a cool place and should not be kept above 25°C after opening.
