Perenterol Forte 250 mg capsules are a natural intestinal therapeutic for the treatment of diarrhoea and for support in acne. The active ingredient in the capsules is Saccharomyces boulardii, a special medicinal yeast. Perenterol Forte helps with acute diarrhoea, neutralises toxic bacterial substances and strengthens the immune system. The medicine is suitable for children from 2 years of age and adults. It must be stored away from moisture. The usual dosage depends on the indication. The package leaflet should be read before use and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions. Flatulence may occur, but side effects are usually minor. People with hypersensitivity to the ingredients or certain diseases should not take the medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also avoid it. The effect of the medicine is based on the fact that the yeast binds disease-causing bacteria and inhibits their multiplication. very suitable as a precaution in countries such as Egypt, India etc. where diarrhoea is said to be very common. I started taking one capsule a day three days before travelling and took the capsule for the whole trip. I never had diarrhoea in any of these countries and Perenterol helped me very well.
