Instructions for use for LAXBENE junior 500 mg/ml Oral solution 6M-8J, 500 ml

Laxbene junior is a ready-to-drink solution for the treatment of constipation in children between 6 months and 8 years. The active ingredient macrogol 4000 increases the water content in the stool and thus facilitates bowel movements. However, it should only be used as part of a change in lifestyle and diet. The maximum duration of treatment is 3 months. The medicine contains an insignificant amount of sugar or sugar substitute (polyol) and sodium benzoate. The package leaflet should be read before taking the medicine. Side effects may include abdominal pain, diarrhoea and nausea. In case of allergic reactions, the treatment should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. Laxbene junior is available in packs of 200 ml and 500 ml. The package leaflet and the doctor or pharmacist should be consulted for risks and side effects. Status: May 2019.
