The directions for use refer to the medicine Yomogi 250 mg hard capsules. It is used for the treatment of acute diarrhoea, travellers' diarrhoea and tube feeding diarrhoea, and for the prevention of travellers' diarrhoea. It contains the active substance Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926-dry yeast. The capsules should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid before meals. For children between 6 months and 2 years, the recommended dosage is 1-2 capsules daily, while adolescents and adults should take 1-2 capsules daily. The duration of treatment varies depending on the symptoms and the course of the disease. Possible side effects may include flatulence. The medicine must not be taken if there is an allergy to yeast or any of the other ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also avoid taking it.
