The active ingredient is Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926 in a dosage of 250 mg.In addition, the medicine contains the following excipients: hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate (vegetable), titanium dioxide, purified water and 0.01 BE total carbohydrates.

Contraindications

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.For acute diarrhea, the recommended dosage for children between 6 months and 2 years as well as for children from 2 years of age, adolescents and adults is 1 hard capsule 1 to 2 times daily.To prevent traveler's diarrhea, adolescents aged 12 and over and adults should take 1 hard capsule 1 to 2 times daily starting 5 days before departure.

Treatment of acute diarrheal illnesses usually lasts 4 to 7 days.To prevent traveler's diarrhea, it should be taken for the entire duration of the trip.If you have taken more than you should, please contact a doctor.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose next time, but continue taking it as prescribed.The intake can be interrupted or stopped at any time.

Intake

The hard capsules should be taken whole with sufficient liquid before meals.For children under 6 years of age, the hard capsule can be opened and the contents stirred into food or liquid.In the case of diarrhea caused by tube feeding, only the contents of the capsules should be added to the nutrient solution.
