The product contains dry yeast and is used to treat acute diarrheal diseases, to prevent and treat traveler's diarrhea and diarrhea caused by tube feeding.It also serves as a supportive treatment for long-standing forms of acne.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in this product is Saccharomyces cerevisiae dry yeast.One hard capsule contains 375 mg of dry yeast from Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926, which corresponds to at least 7.5 x 109 viable cells per hard capsule.The other ingredients are gelatin, purified water, sodium dodecyl sulfate, titanium dioxide and highly dispersed silicon dioxide.

Contraindications

The product should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to individual ingredients.

Dosage

For acute diarrhea: Children between 6 months and 2 years as well as children over 2 years and adults take one hard capsule once daily.For children under 2 years of age, treatment should only be carried out under medical supervision.To prevent traveler's diarrhea, children over 2 years of age and adults take one hard capsule once daily, starting 5 days before departure.To treat acne, children over 2 years old and adults take one hard capsule twice daily.The application is not intended for children under 2 years.

Intake

The hard capsules should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water.In children under 6 years of age, the hard capsule can be opened by pulling the capsule halves apart and the contents can be mixed with food or liquid.If you have diarrhea caused by tube feeding, the hard capsules can also be opened and the contents added to the tube feeding.

The product is not suitable for children under 6 months.

Pregnancy

Before taking any medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.The widespread use of yeast as a food has so far provided no evidence of risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Results of experimental studies for Saccharomyces cerevisiae Hansen CBS 5926 are not available.Therefore, the medicine should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
