Overview

IbuHEXAL® plus paracetamol 200 mg/500 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredients ibuprofen and paracetamol.This medication is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, particularly when pain is not relieved by ibuprofen or acetaminophen alone.It is intended for adults aged 18 and over.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

IbuHEXAL® plus paracetamol 200 mg/500 mg is used for acute relief of mild to moderate pain.These include, for example, back pain, headaches, muscle and joint pain, period pain and toothache.The combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol has a strong, fast, long-lasting effect and is well tolerated.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen and 500 mg paracetamol.Other ingredients include corn starch, crospovidone (type A), colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone K30, pregelatinized starch (corn), talc, stearic acid (vegetable), poly(vinyl alcohol), macrogol 3350 and titanium dioxide.

Contraindications

IbuHEXAL® plus paracetamol 200 mg/500 mg should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

The recommended daily dose is one tablet up to three times a day.There should be at least six hours between doses.No more than six tablets may be taken within 24 hours, which corresponds to a total of 1,200 mg ibuprofen and 3,000 mg paracetamol.The tablets should be taken with water and with food.The medication is intended for short-term use only (no longer than three days).

Intake

The tablets should be taken with water.It is recommended to take the medicine with food to reduce the chance of side effects.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

IbuHEXAL® plus paracetamol 200 mg/500 mg should not be taken in the last three months of pregnancy.Its use should be avoided during the first six months of pregnancy unless directed by a doctor.During breastfeeding, the drug can be taken if it is taken at the recommended dose and for the shortest possible duration.

Notes
