Instructions for use for TUMAROL Children's Balm N, 30 g

Directions for use of the product Tumarol Kinderbalsam N: Tumarol Kinderbalsam N is used externally to improve the symptoms of colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus. It contains 50 mg eucalyptus oil and 50 mg pine needle oil per 1 g ointment. For risks and side effects, read the package leaflet and ask your doctor or pharmacist. Indications: - Colds of the respiratory tract, especially with viscous mucus. Dosage and directions for use: - Children from 2-6 years: 3 cm strand length 2 times daily in the morning and evening. - Children from 6-12 years: 6 cm strand length 2 times daily in the morning and evening. - Adolescents from 12 years and adults: 12 cm strand length 2 times daily in the morning and evening. - Apply the medicine to the chest and back. Wash your hands thoroughly after application. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas. - Do not use the medicine for more than 1 week without medical advice. In case of prolonged or regularly recurring symptoms, you should consult your doctor. Contraindications: - Allergy to eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil or any of the other ingredients. - Infants and small children up to 2 years of age. - Bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup. - Lactation. - Damaged skin. - Special caution in case of complaints lasting longer than one week, shortness of breath, fever, purulent or bloody sputum. - Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Clean hands thoroughly after application. Ensure that children do not come into contact with the treated skin areas. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: - Not sufficiently studied, therefore do not use during pregnancy. Do not use during breastfeeding. Side effects: - Rarely contact eczema, allergic reactions, cough irritation. - Increased irritation of the skin and mucous membranes. - Increased cramping of the respiratory muscles (bronchospasm). - In rare cases, respiratory arrest when breathing concentrated vapours. Important information: - Caution in case of allergy to spices, essential oils and turpentine oil. - Caution in case of allergy to paraffin. - Interactions with other medicinal products possible. - Pay attention to conscientious dosage in infants, small children and elderly people.
