Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicinal product contains 250 mg of dry yeast from Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926, corresponding to at least 2x10x10 viable cells.Other ingredients include hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate (vegetable), titanium dioxide, purified water and 0.01 BE total carbohydrates.

Contraindications

Do not take Yomogi 250 mg if you are allergic to yeast or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.Immunosuppressed or hospitalized patients as well as patients with central venous catheters should also not use the medicine.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.For acute diarrhea, the recommended dosage for children between 6 months and 2 years as well as for children from 2 years of age, adolescents and adults is 1 hard capsule 1 to 2 times daily.To prevent traveler's diarrhea, adolescents aged 12 and over and adults should take 1 hard capsule 1 to 2 times daily starting 5 days before departure.Taking it over 4 to 7 days is usually sufficient.To prevent traveler's diarrhea, treatment should be carried out consistently throughout the entire duration of the trip.

Intake

Please take the hard capsules whole with sufficient liquid (e.g. a glass of water) before meals.For children under 6 years of age, you can open the hard capsule by pulling the capsule halves apart and stirring the contents into food or liquid (room temperature).In the case of diarrhea caused by tube feeding, only the contents of the capsules should be added to the nutrient solution.
