Summary: The FIWA tape dressing is a special inelastic plaster made of 100% cotton with a skin-friendly and natural zinc oxide rubber adhesive. It is easy to tear due to the serrated edge. The bandage has a size of 3.8 cm x 10 m and is white. The FIWA tape dressing is suitable for functional dressings for joint stabilisation, relief of injured muscles, conservative treatment of dislocations, prophylaxis and rehabilitation in sports medicine. It can be applied externally and can be sterilised using a validated procedure. The dressing should be stored dry, dust-free and away from direct sunlight. There are some warnings, including not to use if the packaging is damaged, not to reuse and not to use after the expiry date. The FIWA tape dressing is manufactured by Fink & Walter GmbH.
