Information for use on the article Isotonic saline solution Fresenius Freeflex: - Indications: Plasma isotonic fluid replacement in hypotonic and isotonic dehydration, short-term intravascular volume replacement, as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates and compatible medicines, for moistening dressings. - Active ingredients/ingredients: 2.25 g sodium chloride, 38.5 mmol sodium ion, 38.5 mmol chloride ion, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, water for injection. - Contraindications: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride or any of the other ingredients, in case of overhydration. - Dosage: The dosage depends on the fluid and electrolyte requirements, a maximum daily dose should not be exceeded. - Administration: The medicine is given intravenously, serves as a carrier or solvent for medicines. - Patient advice: Special caution in certain diseases, controls of electrolyte and fluid status may be necessary. - Pregnancy: Use possible, no concerns with appropriate reason for treatment. - Indications: Read the package leaflet and ask your doctor or pharmacist.
