Instructions for use for KAMILLAN supra solution, 100 ml

Dosage and directions for use

• Children from 6 years of age, adolescents and adults take 10-20 ml 1-3 times a day regardless of the time of day.
• Children from 6 years, adolescents and adults take 20-30 drops several times a day spread over the day.
• Children 6 years and older, adolescents and adults take 7.5-15 ml one to several times a day regardless of the time of day.
• Children from 6 years, adolescents and adults take 10-20 ml one to several times a day regardless of the time of day.
• Children 6 years and older take 20 drops 1-4 times daily regardless of meal time or time of day.
• Adolescents from 12 years and adults take 30 drops 1-4 times a day regardless of the meal and time of day.
• The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
• The medicinal product can be used inhaled, for mouth rinsing and gargling, for sitz baths and rinses, for poultices, washes and partial baths, and for ingestion.
• The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.
• In the case of accidental overdose, treatment can be continued if no symptoms occur.
• In case of forgotten intake/application, the double dose should not be taken/applied. Treatment can be continued with the correct dosage.
• Treatment can be interrupted or stopped early.

Contraindications

• Use of the medicinal product is not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients or similar medicines (cross-allergy).
• The medicinal product should not be used in the eye area, for inhalation with a cold nebuliser and for colonic irrigation.
• The medicine should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
• Use during pregnancy and lactation should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

• Possible adverse effects are inflammation of the skin, hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma due to medication, circulatory collapse and allergic shock.
• A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in the event of any disturbances of well-being or changes during treatment.

Composition

• Active ingredient: camomile flower extract (1 g contains: 100 g extract of camomile flowers, 1 g = approx. 30 drops)
• Excipients: macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, ethanol

Important notes

• Take care when inhaling the medicine to avoid burns from hot water vapour.
• Caution in allergies to spices and composites and in liver patients, alcoholics, epileptics, brain-damaged persons, pregnant women, nursing mothers and children due to the alcohol content.
• Solubilisers can cause stomach upset, diarrhoea and skin irritation.
• Drug interactions should be considered for use of the drug.

Storage

• After opening/preparation, the medicinal product should be used for a maximum of 6 months.
• The medicinal product should be stored at room temperature.
