AQUACEL® Ag wound dressings are antimicrobial primary dressings that have been specifically developed for infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection.These dressings combine the proven Hydrofiber® technology with Ag+ technology, a unique silver ion-containing formulation that works against biofilm.They are designed to combat the three main enemies of wound healing: exudation, infection and biofilm.

A AQUACEL® Ag wound dressing consists of two layers of Hydrofiber® that are sewn with reinforcing fibers.This construction ensures optimal drug release and effective wound care.
