Apolind wound balm with nystatin is used to treat fungal infections, especially those associated with inflammation. It is used for fungal infections of the skin, in the folds of the body, such as soreness under the breasts, on the buttocks or between the thighs, as well as for fungal infections between the toes or fingers and inflammation in the genital and anal areas, such as nappy dermatitis. Application should be 1-3 times daily to the affected skin areas. The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. The medicine can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but only after consulting a doctor. The medicinal product must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Possible side effects include hypersensitivity reactions of the skin such as rash and itching. Large amounts of the medicinal product should not be applied and care should be taken to avoid contact with open wounds, eyes or mucous membranes. The package leaflet should be read before use. The medicinal product is available in the form of an oily suspension and should be stored away from light and at room temperature. The pack should be used within 4 weeks after opening.
