Instructions for use for AMOROLFIN Nail cure Heumann 5% nail polish, 5 ml

Amorolfin nail cure HEUMANN is a medicine for the treatment of fungal infections of the nails. It is used when the nails are discoloured, thick or brittle. It is applied once a week for a period of 6 months for fingernails and 9-12 months for toenails. Before application, the diseased nail areas must be filed down and cleaned. The nail polish is then applied evenly and allowed to dry. No cosmetic nail polishes or artificial nails should be used during the treatment. Side effects may include nail damage and skin reactions. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and is highly flammable. It is important to continue use until completely healed. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions or side effects.

I have been using the nail treatment on my fingernails and toenails for just over a month. But I think it was all still in very mild form. My fingernails are already completely healthy again and are finally growing long again without breaking off or flaking. Now I only use the nail polish on my toenails, so it will probably take a little longer, but even there one out of two nails looks almost normal again. I am really happy. As you only have to apply the treatment once a week, it is firstly more cost-effective as you use fewer ml and secondly you don't have to deal with the issue every day, which I find very pleasant.
