Summary: Excilor solution against nail fungus is a medical product for the treatment of mild to moderate nail fungus. The solution contains acetic acid and works by locally acidifying the nail against the growth of the fungus. It penetrates deep into the nail and thus prevents progressive damage. At the same time, the solution contains nourishing substances that support the reconstruction of the damaged nail structure. The application is simple and does not require filing of the nails. The solution should be applied to the affected nail 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is usually 3-6 months or until the nail is completely restored. There is no known resistance to the product. Diabetics should consult their doctor before use. The solution should not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Mild discomfort such as burning, itching or pain may occur. The solution should be kept out of the reach of children. The package leaflet should be read carefully before use. Excilor solution for nail fungus is available in a 3.3 ml glass bottle with a brush applicator. There are no clinical data on the use in pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.
