Area of application

Wepa Gel against warts is a medical product for the treatment of warts on the hands and feet.It is suitable for adults and children aged 4 and over.Warts are localized skin growths caused by human papilloma viruses (HPV).They can occur individually or in groups and are contagious.The gel is immediately absorbed by the wart and contains an active ingredient that dissolves the tissue locally so that the warts can be removed.

Ingredients

Wepa gel against warts contains the following ingredients: trichloroacetic acid (TCA 40%), water, glycerin, cellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, benzoic acid and sodium benzoate.The active ingredient trichloroacetic acid has a keratolytic effect, meaning it dissolves the tissue locally so that the warts can be removed.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage

To use Wepa Gel against warts, follow these steps:

1. Remove the cap by pushing the cap down and turning it counterclockwise.

2. Using the applicator, apply one drop of gel twice daily for 4 days.For larger warts, it may be necessary to apply more than one drop to cover the entire area of the wart.For children with small warts, treatment is only carried out once a day.

3. Close the bottle tightly after use.

4. Allow the gel to dry for 10 to 15 minutes.

5. Carry out the treatment 4 days consecutively.If the wart has not completely disappeared, take a break for 4 days and then repeat the treatment.This treatment can be repeated up to 4 times.

Notes

Do not exceed the number of recommended applications.Be sure to coat the entire wart with the gel and be careful not to get any of it on the surrounding skin.The product is intended for external use only and must not come into contact with eyes and oral mucous membranes or be ingested.Do not use the gel to treat genital warts or on the face.Do not apply the gel to painful or bleeding warts, irritated, inflamed or broken skin, or blisters.Also do not apply to warts with hair, birthmarks, dark pigment spots or pigmented skin.Do not expose the treated area to the sun again until the skin has returned to its normal appearance.The product contains a corrosive substance.Read the instructions for use carefully before use.
