Sterillium® med

Sterillium® med is a hand disinfectant with a broad spectrum of action that also inactivates noroviruses and enveloped viruses.It is suitable for both hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.The product is free of dyes and perfumes and has been dermatologically tested.It contains a skin care complex that increases skin moisture and ensures good skin tolerance.

Area of application

Sterillium® med solution is specially designed for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.It is antibacterial and effective against a variety of viruses, including noroviruses, adenoviruses and rotaviruses.The disinfectant is also suitable as part of the medicine cabinet.

100 Grams of Sterillium® med solution contains 85 grams of ethanol as an active ingredient.The other ingredients include butan-2-one, 1-propanol, tetradecan-1-ol, glycerol 85% and purified water.

Contraindications

Sterillium® med solution should not be used in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or open wounds.In case of contact with eyes, eyes should be rinsed with running water for several minutes.People with hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients should not use the product.

Dosage

The disinfectant is rubbed undiluted into dry hands, covering all areas of the skin, especially the fingertips and thumbs.The hands must be kept moist with the product throughout the entire rubbing period.

Application

For optimal effect, all skin areas should be rubbed with a sufficient amount of Sterillium® med solution for at least 30 seconds.Hands should be dry before disinfection.Do each of the following steps in sequence: rub palms together, rub palms over backs of hands, rub palms together with fingers spread and interlaced, rub outside of fingers on opposite palms with fingers interlaced, rub both thumbs and rub fingertips together in palms.

Notes

Occasionally, slight dryness or irritation of the skin may occur.In such cases, it is recommended to intensify your skin care routine.Allergic reactions are rare.No prescription is required for this product.Use externally only.Due to the alcohol content, frequent use of the drug on the skin may cause irritation or inflammation.Do not bring into contact with open flames.Keep away from sources of ignition - do not smoke.Flash point according to DIN 51755: approx. 16 °C, highly flammable.If the product is used as intended, there are no risks of fire or explosion.If the disinfectant is spilled, the following measures must be taken: immediately absorb the liquid, dilute it with plenty of water, ventilate the room and eliminate sources of ignition.In the event of a fire, extinguish with water, dry powder, foam or CO2.Any decanting may only be carried out under aseptic conditions (sterile bench).

Active ingredient per 1 gram of solution: 850 milligrams of ethanol.Other ingredients: butan-2-one, propan-1-ol, myristyl alcohol, glycerol 85%, purified water.
