Directions for use of the article Alsol Salbe: - Alsol ointment is traditionally used as a mildly acting medicinal product for superficial injuries. - The ointment contains the active substance aluminium acetate tartrate. - Before use, please note that Alsol Ointment should not be applied to large areas of weeping or suppurating inflammation. - In children, it should only be used after consulting a doctor. - Tell your doctor or pharmacist about the use of other medicines together with Alsol Ointment. - Apply Alsol Ointment thinly and evenly to the affected areas of the skin 1 to 3 times a day. - Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. - If there are any skin reactions or signs of a hypersensitivity reaction, Alsol Ointment should no longer be used. - Possible side effects may include skin irritation. - The medicinal product should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. - Alsol Ointment contains lanolin and butylated hydroxytoluene, which may cause local skin irritation. - The recommended dosage and duration of use can be found in the package leaflet.
