Directions for use of Abnobaviscum Fraxini 20 mg ampoules: - Active substance: extract of fresh ash mistletoe herb. - Indications: Malignant tumour diseases, concomitant disorders of the haematopoietic organs, relapse prophylaxis after tumour operations, defined precancerous lesions, benign tumour diseases. - Dosage: initial phase with 0.02 mg three times a week, then gradually increase the dose until the optimal concentration is reached - Reactions: Change in subjective sensation, temperature response, immunological response, local inflammatory response. - Maintenance phase: individual dosing, gradually increasing the dose to 0.2 mg, 2 mg and 20 mg with 2-3 injections per week - Rhythmic use: Alternation between different concentrations or doses - Review of dosage: every 3-6 months - Frequency of use: subcutaneous injection 2-3 times per week - Special warnings: Caution with rapid dose increase, brain tumours/metastases, inflamed skin areas or irradiation fields. - Side effects: slight increase in body temperature, local inflammatory reactions, allergic or allergoid reactions, chronic granulomatous inflammation, symptoms of increased intracranial pressure - Storage: in the refrigerator at 2° C to 8° C - Shelf life: 3 years Source: Manufacturer's information, as of 08/2020
