Instructions for use for CERVITEC Gel, 20 g

Cervitec Gel is an oral care gel for cleaning, protecting and maintaining the health of the teeth, gums, peri-implant tissue and mucosa. It can also be used to moisturise the gums and oral mucosa. The gel is particularly suitable before and after treatment of gingivitis, mucositis, denture stomatitis, periodontitis or periimplantitis, as well as in cases of high caries risk or limited oral hygiene. It also helps with bad breath (halitosis). Cervitec Gel is easy to use. You can apply it directly to the gums, oral mucosa, tongue and teeth or to the inside of removable dentures. It can also be applied to the interdental brush to clean the spaces between teeth, orthodontic appliances or fixed dentures - such as bridges or implants. You can also use it to brush your teeth and still use your usual toothpaste once a day. The recommended duration of use is 2-14 days every 3-4 months. Even with prolonged use of more than 4 weeks, no discolouration of the teeth or taste irritation will occur. The gel should not be rinsed out after use to support its caring effect. Cervitec Gel contains sodium fluoride with a fluoride content of 900 ppm. For children up to 6 years of age, it is recommended to use only a pea-sized amount of oral care gel and supervise tooth brushing to avoid excessive swallowing. You should consult your dentist or doctor if additional fluoride is ingested. The gel should be kept at a storage temperature of 2-28 °C and inaccessible to children. The ingredients of the gel are aqua, glycerine, xylitol, hydroxyethylcellulose, panthenol, laureth-23, chlorhexidine digluconate, sodium fluoride, flavouring and sucralose.
