HYLO PARIN®: Relief from eye irritation

HYLO PARIN® was specially developed for dry and recurrently irritated eyes.The combination of hyaluronic acid and heparin promotes efficient moistening of the surface of the eye and supports the regeneration of the cornea and conjunctiva.The eye drops form a long-lasting and stable tear film that protects the eyes from irritation and relieves symptoms such as burning, redness, itching or an unpleasant foreign body sensation. HYLO PARIN® is free of preservatives and phosphates, which makes them particularly well tolerated, even in combination with contact lenses.The patented COMOD® system allows for easy and precise dosing, and the bottle contains at least 300 drops, which have a shelf life of 6 months after opening.

Mode of action

Hyaluronic acid binds moisture particularly well and forms a stable tear film that protects the eyes from irritation.Heparin, a sugar-like compound, enhances this effect and helps the eye drops adhere to the cornea and conjunctiva.This promotes the regeneration of the irritated surface of the eye and allows the eyelids to glide smoothly over the eye without causing unpleasant discomfort.

HYLO PARIN® Moisturizing eye drops are particularly suitable for dry and irritated eyes.They help with symptoms such as burning, itching or painful eyes, as well as irritated, dry, tired or stressed eyes.The eye drops are also suitable for eye injuries to the conjunctiva and cornea.

Ingredients of HYLO PARIN® Moisturizing eye drops: 1 ml contains 1 mg sodium hyaluronate and 1300 IU heparin sodium.Other ingredients include glycerol, citrate buffer and water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use: If necessary, drip a drop into each conjunctival sac.To do this, pull the lower eyelid down slightly and drip into the resulting gap.Please also note the enclosed application instructions.

Damaging influences from outside

The cornea and conjunctiva can be severely irritated by environmental factors such as dry ambient air, smoke, dust or allergic reactions.Even long periods of screen work can strain the eyes and cause irritation.This manifests itself as redness, burning or itching of the eyes, a feeling of a foreign body or even painful eyes. HYLO PARIN® supports the eyes in regenerating and protecting them at the same time.

Natural factors & medical causes

The conjunctiva ensures smooth eye movement and serves as protection against foreign bodies in the eye.Their secretion also helps to moisten the eyes.But it is also very sensitive and reacts accordingly to irritating influences: conjunctivitis can be the result.The cornea also protects our eyes from e.g.B. foreign bodies and UV-light.The heparin contained in HYLO PARIN® adheres well to the surface of the eye and can therefore moisten the cornea and conjunctiva to counteract irritation.

How often should HYLO PARIN® eye drops be used? HYLO PARIN® supports the moistening and regeneration of the cornea in dry and recurrently irritated eyes.The dosage of the eye drops can be tailored individually to your condition or according to the recommendations of your ophthalmologist.In general, 1 drop of HYLO PARIN® is dripped into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 to 6 times a day.If you experience severe symptoms or if it is necessary to use the eye drops more often than 10 times a day, please have your eyes examined by an ophthalmologist.

Can I use HYLO PARIN® together with other preparations?If other drug treatment with eye drops is also necessary, you should leave an application interval of at least 30 minutes and always administer HYLO PARIN® last.In the case of simultaneous treatment with eye drops containing gentamicin, an interval of at least one hour must be maintained between applications, as the active ingredient gentamicin can form visible precipitates in the conjunctival sac in direct interaction with heparin.

Is HYLO PARIN® suitable for treating the entire family? HYLO PARIN® eye drops are particularly well tolerated and are therefore in principle also suitable for use in children as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.However, it is important to ensure that the same person should always be treated with a bottle of HYLO PARIN® - as is generally the case with all eye drops - in order to avoid the transmission of germs. To ensure that the bottles are not mixed up, they should be labeled accordingly when opened.

Application

Step 1: Remove the protective cap before use.

Step 2: Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing down.Place your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.

Step 3: Lightly support the hand holding the bottle with your other hand.

Step 4: Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid slightly with your other hand.Apply strong pressure to the bottom of the bottle and drip the drop into the conjunctival sac.Thanks to the special COMOD® pump system, exactly 1 drop comes out.Slowly close your eye to distribute the liquid over the surface of the eye.After use, immediately close the dropper tip with the cap.
