Klosterfrau Arnica Pain Ointment is a herbal medicine that is used externally to treat the consequences of injuries and accidents such as bruises, sprains, bruises or bruises.The ointment not only helps in acute cases, but is also suitable for the lengthy follow-up treatment of accident injuries.The active ingredients of the medicinal plant arnica reduce pain, reduce swelling and accelerate the recovery of bruises.

100 g cream contains 25 g tincture of arnica flowers (1:10) as active ingredient, extractant: ethanol 70% (V/V).The other ingredients are: Sedefos 75 (ethylene glycol monopalmitostearate, diethylene glycol palmitostearate, Tris[alkyl(C16-C18)poly(oxyethylen)-4]phosphate), medium-chain triglycerides, emulsifying cetylstearyl alcohol (type A), Dimeticon (100cSt),2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol-L(+)-6-O-palmitoyl ascorbic acid-citric acid 1 H2O-glycerol monostearate-propylene glycol (10:5:2.5:5:27.5) (G/G), sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing), sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Contraindications

Klosterfrau Arnica Pain Ointment must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to preparations made from arnica or other composite plants, such as chrysanthemums or yarrow, or any of the other ingredients of the ointment.The ointment should also not be used on damaged skin, such as injuries, burns or eczema.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and in children under 12 years of age.If used in the nipple area during breastfeeding, care should also be taken to ensure that the ointment does not get into this area.

Dosage

Apply a 3 cm long strand of Klosterfrau Arnica Pain Ointment to an area the size of your palm 2 to 3 times a day.The duration of use depends on the clinical picture and should not be longer than 3-4 days without medical advice.If you have long-lasting or recurring symptoms, you should consult your doctor.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.Cetylstearyl alcohol can cause localized skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).When using preparations containing arnica on the skin, allergic reactions in the form of itching and reddening of the skin with blistering (eczema) often occur, usually as a result of pre-existing allergies or because of so-called cross-reactions due to hypersensitivity to other composite plants, such as chrysanthemums.Frequent and prolonged use can promote the development of new allergies to arnica.If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.You may no longer use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the outer carton and container after “Use by”.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.Storage conditions: Do not store above 30°C.After opening, Klosterfrau Arnica Pain Ointment has a shelf life of 12 months.Do not store above 25°C.
