EMSER SOLE® Inhalant

EMSER SOLE® Inhalat is a natural medicine that consists of Emser salt.The solution in the ampoules is ready for use and is used in a nebulizer.Emser salt is a purely natural product that contains over 30 minerals and trace elements.When inhaled, salty water vapor is brought into the nose in a physiological concentration.This moisturizes the nasal mucosa, loosens stuck mucus, soothes the mucous membrane, reduces swelling and promotes regeneration.Regular use can also prevent colds.

This preparation is used to support the treatment of simple acute infections of the upper respiratory tract and chronic inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinuses by moistening, cleansing and decongesting the nasal mucosa.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

EMSER SOLE® Inhalat is a saline local therapeutic agent for the treatment of respiratory diseases.It is used for supportive treatment by moistening, cleansing and decongesting the nasal mucosa in banal acute infections of the upper respiratory tract and chronic rhinosinusitis.It also serves as an accompanying treatment measure to accelerate the healing process after endonasal sinus surgery.

Each ampoule with 5 ml solution contains 58.75 mg of natural Emser salt.Purified water is also included as an additional ingredient.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the components of the preparation.The preparation must not be inhaled if acute shortness of breath has already occurred during a previous inhalation with isoosmotic Emser salt solution.

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the instructions for use or exactly as discussed with your doctor or pharmacist.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

The recommended dose is: The preparation should be inhaled 3 to 4 times daily, inhaling 5 ml of solution through the nose with each inhalation.Inhalation should always be carried out using a suitable nebulizer.Compressed air-driven or ultrasonic inhalation devices are suitable.Depending on the type of device, the volume that must be used for atomization can vary greatly.In this case, enough solution should be filled into the inhaler to ensure an inhalation time of 10 to 15 minutes.

Intake

Patient information

Pregnancy

The preparation contains a solution of natural Emser salt in a salt concentration adapted to the blood.It is well tolerated by all people and can therefore be used in all of the above cases when used as intended.

EMSER SOLE® Inhalat is supplied as a ready-to-use solution in ampoules of 5 ml each.Open an ampoule by twisting off the top cap.Then fill the contents of the ampoule into your inhaler.Enough inhalation solution should be used to ensure an inhalation time of 10-15 minutes.

Inhalation with EMSER SOLE® inhalant

Inhale EMSER SOLE® inhalant using a suitable nebulizer. Inhalation devices that nebulize the solution into the finest aerosols using either compressed air, ultrasound or a vibrating membrane are suitable for this.

Inhale one ampoule containing 5 ml of EMSER SOLE® inhalant through your nose 3 to 4 times a day.If possible, an inhalation time of 10-15 minutes should be maintained.Inhalation via the nose is carried out using inhalation masks that cover the mouth and nose equally.These are i.d.Usually included as an accessory for inhaler devices.
