Posterisan Protect is an ointment used to relieve the discomfort of haemorrhoids. It contains a skin protection complex of jojoba wax, yellow beeswax and cetylstearylisononanoate. These ingredients nourish, protect and smooth the skin, increase moisture retention and improve skin elasticity in the anal area. The ointment can be used before and after bowel movements and protects the pain-sensitive areas from irritation. In addition, the pack contains an anal dilator to gradually stretch the cramped sphincter muscle or to prevent sphincter cramps. Posterisan Protect can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Localised skin irritation may occur. The ointment should not be used at the same time as other preparations for the treatment of complaints in the anal region.
