Doctan Active Spray is a water-alcohol-based spray solution that provides reliable protection against bites from domestic, tropical and subtropical mosquitoes as well as bites from other blood-sucking insects such as ticks, horseflies and biting flies.The solution forms a protective film on the skin and is also suitable for use under thin clothing as it does not leave stains and is quickly absorbed.Due to its cooling effect, Doctan Active is particularly popular for use at higher temperatures and sporting activities in the great outdoors.

Doctan Active Spray offers protection for adults and children aged 2 and over from domestic, tropical and subtropical mosquitoes for up to 12 hours.The effectiveness against ticks, horseflies and biting flies is up to 8 hours.The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends insect repellent with icaridin as a malaria prophylactic agent.The product can also protect against vectors of the Zika virus.

General tips for using insect repellent sprays: The effectiveness of the repellent is reduced by temperatures above 40°C, so do not leave it in the blazing sun (car!).Only use the products on healthy skin!(Caution: sunburn!) If possible, shower thoroughly before jumping into the water and only use insect repellent sprays after swimming.If you sweat excessively, the effective time may be shortened - perhaps use it more often.Icaridin protects against the bite of annoying bloodsuckers - but it is still advisable to check your skin, hair and clothing for crawling ticks before going to bed.Apply your sunscreen first - then the defense spray. Mosquitoes can bite through very thin fabric;Here it is recommended to use it on the skin before getting dressed.

Application

If necessary, spray directly onto healthy, dry skin every 12 hours.Allow the product to take effect briefly before putting on.Do not spray directly onto the face.
