Instructions for use for UREOTOP Ointment, 50 g

Ureotop ointment contains the active ingredient urea and is used for the treatment of dry skin, e.g. neurodermatitis or skin of the elderly. It can also be used for the supportive treatment of ichthyosis. The ointment must not be used if there is an allergy to urea or any of the other ingredients and should not be used to treat acute skin inflammations. Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided during application. Pregnant women should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Side effects may occur in the form of skin irritation such as burning, redness, itching or scaling. The ointment is applied to cleansed dry skin and massaged in gently. The duration of application depends on the type of symptoms. Ureotop ointment is available in 50 g and 100 g packs.
